Suffolk St. Patrick’s Day Cleanup

Constant's Wharf 100 E Constance Rd, Suffolk, VA

The St. Patrick's Day River Cleanup, taking place from 9:00am until 12:00pm on March 16, 2024, is a land and water-based public cleanup that is open to individuals, families, or groups. We will be meeting at Constant's Wharf Park & Marina (100 East Constance Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434) and will focus on Nansemond River in the Downtown Suffolk area. Those looking to clean from the river must provide their own kayak or canoe. Cleanup equipment, such as reflective vests, grabbers, gloves, and bags will be provided on-site. Longer grabbers will be provided to participants looking to clean by boat from the river. Those looking to clean by land will be able to clean from the wharf - or be directed to specific sites nearby that need attention. Getting the litter before it reaches the river is extremely important! Please feel free to reach out via email at ksb@suffolkva.us or phone at (757) 514-7604.
