Resolve to Improve Your Community This Year

Get involved
– Join a community clean-up event
– Organize a neighborhood improvement day
– Lend a hand to a neighbor in need

Put waste in its place
When nature calls on Fido,  scoop it, bag it and trash it!
– Pick up litter
– Fix vehicle oil leaks
– Scrape leftover food into the garbage or compost bin, not in the garbage disposal

Recycle
Recycle paper, plastic, glass, cardboard and aluminum
– Take plastic bags and wraps to a recycling bin typically found at grocery stores and other retail shops
– Drop off unwanted electronics at designated recycling events and facilities

Support local businesses and farmers
Buy from local farmers
– Join a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program
– Patronize locally-owned stores and restaurants
