Help Us Name Our Water Drop!

COMMUNITY CENTERClean Water & WaterwaysMay 2, 2025Rebekah Eastep

Meet the newest member of the askHRgreen.org family! Our new friend is ready to champion all things WATER like the importance of high quality drinking water, finding and fixing wasteful household leaks, and preventing pollution in local waterways. There’s just one problem. Our water drop needs a NAME!

Do you have a clever, inspiring, funny, or just plain “punny” name suggestion? If so, submit them using this form: https://forms.gle/rs1He5u8eFhKXaeY7

Your name suggestion could be selected as the winning name! And along with some pretty sweet bragging rights, you could be one of SIX winners to receive an Owala water bottle for participating. Winners will be selected at random so even the silliest suggestion could earn you a free water bottle.
This promotion is a part of national Drinking Water Week celebrated by water utilities across the U.S. during the first week of May. Clean, drinkable water powers everything we do. From our morning coffee to every twist of the tap, Hampton Roads depends on a complex system of underground pipes and hundreds of water professionals to bring reliable water to our homes and businesses. And unfortunately, out of sight often means out of mind. Drinking Water Week is about encouraging the community to reflect on the importance our region’s drinking water plays in our daily lives.
Stay tuned to the askHRgreen.org Facebook page for the official reveal of our water drop’s name in the coming weeks. Cheers!
