Forget the Wrapping

Ah, yes, it’s the final push before the holidays, which means running around like crazy shopping for everyone on your list and trying to find the time to wrap everything. Well, if you’re like me, I still have a lot of shopping to do. So, I’ve wondered what I can do to make this holiday season a little easier on myself.

Since the shopping part of it doesn’t go away, I started thinking about what can be done to make the wrapping part easier. Then it came to me, what if I didn’t wrap presents? No wrapping paper, no tape, no ribbons, no tissue paper, no bows – but then what would I use? Ah ha! What about reusable bags? That way, the bag becomes part of the gift, too! What a brilliant idea! I don’t have to spend money on all of that gift wrap and we don’t end up filling up several trash bags on Christmas with mounds of wrapping paper, tissue and bows. Plus, it’s simple to just put a gift in a bag and be done with it.

Check that out, I went “green” and I’m showing family and friends how to “go green,” too. Now if I can just convince Santa…
