Looking for a way to spend some time outdoors this fall while also making a positive impact in your community? Well, here’s one of many ways for you to get involved. Pedaling for a Cleaner America, established earlier this year, brings communities and cyclists together around the common interest of having safe, clean neighborhoods and roads. Through their Pedal Up to Clean Up events, Pedaling for a Cleaner America has been removing litter from parks, pathways and roadways throughout the region. But you don’t have to be a cyclist to join in the greening. Everyone is welcome to come out and volunteer at these events. You will be surprised by what a difference you can make in the local environment, and the quality of your community, with just one hour of work.
