Saving Our Waterways One Medallion at a Time

Are you looking for an activity that your entire family can enjoy? The Storm Drain Medallion program is an excellent opportunity to learn about your waterways and help the environment.

Gabe and his dad, Scott, spent a fun filled Saturday afternoon attaching blue medallions to the storm drains in their neighborhood. The blue medallions inform residents that only rain should go down the storm drain. These blue discs remind citizens of the importance of protecting our waterways from pollution and waste.

There are seventeen municipalities that participate in this program. Is your city one of them? If you want to be like Gabe and his dad, Scott, download the Storm Drain Medallion Program Application Form and help make sure that only rain goes down the storm drain in your neighborhood.
