By making a few low or no-cost changes in daily operations, businesses can help reduce pollution, conserve resources and show customers their commitment to protecting our region’s most defining natural resource: water.

Businesses play an important role in keeping Hampton Roads clean and green. From reducing waste and conserving water to preventing pollution from reaching storm drains, everyday choices can make a meaningful difference for local waterways.
Becoming a Bay Star Business is an easy way to get involved in the effort to protect our region’s water resources while encouraging employees, customers and other businesses to take action too.
Pledge to become a Bay Star Business by completing the registration form below. Once registered, your business can proudly display a Bay Star Business window cling or sticker in your storefront or on your vehicle. Your business will also be recognized on askHRgreen.org so customers and community members can see your commitment to cleaner waterways.
Please register only once per city or county, regardless of the number of storefronts you may have. Multiple clings may be available upon request.
Program available to businesses operating in:
Chesapeake, Franklin, Gloucester County, Hampton, Isle of Wight County, James City County, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Smithfield, Southampton County, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg and York County.
