Residents of James City County/Williamsburg, York County, Hampton, and Poquoson may bring household chemicals and select electronics for recycling or safe disposal. Accepted items include:

• Household chemicals – paint, stains, adhesives, solvents
• Automotive products – gasoline, waxes, brake fluid, engine cleaner (no motor oil or antifreeze)
• Lawn & garden chemicals – insecticides, weed killer, pesticides, fertilizer
• Computers & select electronics – desktop and laptop computers, computer monitors, cell phones, computer wiring, desktop printers, fax machines, and desktop photocopiers and scanners
• CFL & flourescent light bulbs
• Rechargeable batteries
• Pool chemicals
