Step up your home recycling with Feet on the Street!

Let’s face it. It’s easy to get confused about recycling and put the wrong thing in the bin. That’s why there’s  “Feet on the Street,” a new neighborhood research initiative from askHRGreen to help us all feel good about our recycling habits and protect our local environment.

How It Works

In our study area? Look for tags on your recycling cart for real-time feedback!

1. Trained recycling teams will visit neighborhoods on collection days.
2. They’ll check recycling carts for “contamination,” which really means stuff like plastic bags, food waste and other unaccepted materials.
3. If needed, they’ll leave helpful feedback so residents can recycle correctly next time.
