Did you happen to catch this article from NBC News on the 15-ton “fatberg” discovered in London? Turns out, the massive obstruction in the sanitary sewer system was caused by a combination of cooking fats, oils and grease and wet wipes. Craig Rance, press officer at Thames Water told NBC News: “Fats and wet wipes together are just a recipe for disaster.” Mr. Rance, we couldn’t agree more. Trash the fat and the wipes!
