Fat Free Holidays in Hampton

Posted on December 15, 2011 by | Comments Off

Grease Can LidsThanks to the City of Hampton’s Public Works Department, visitors to the Hampton Main Library are in for a real treat with this “Grease Can Christmas Tree.”  The ornaments are actually reusable lids that will fit on top of any soup or vegetable can. Simply pour your leftover cooking grease into the can, top it with the lid, and store it in the fridge to let it harden. When the can is full, toss it in the trash and reuse the lid for another day. It’s the gift that keeps on giving and it’s yours FREE! Just stop by the Hampton Main Library on Victoria Blvd and grab your lid today before they’re all gone.

Wishing you and your drains a festive and fat-free holiday season!
